Hardscaping

We are passionate about hardscaping because we believe it is a way to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces that can enhance the overall look and feel of a property. There is something to be said about the creativity and artistry that goes into designing and constructing hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Working with different materials like stone, brick, and concrete to craft unique and durable features that can withstand the elements and stand the test of time is a rewarding experience. Hardscaping allows us to combine our love of design, construction, and landscaping in a way that makes a tangible impact on the outdoor environment. We are continuously learning new techniques to create stunning and functional outdoor spaces for our clients to enjoy. Contact us to discuss your next project.

Project Examples

Hardscapes for Various Applications and Budgets

Rock Bed Extension

We extended the rock bed to the drive way creating a much fuller look to the existing bed. After edging out and turning the soil, we laid down a cloth ground covering to prevent weeds from growing. The stand alone sunflowers were planted next followed by the red rock ground covering and a goose egg boarder. Lastly, river stones were placed for a finishing touch.

Materials

  • Red Rock
  • Goose Eggs
  • Sunflower
  • River Rock

Robbinsville Front Yard

This job needed a total redo of the front yard. The yard transformed from mulch and 6 overgrown fully matured boxwood shrubs to 3/8ths red rock overnight. Low growing shrubs and easy to maintain plants were added to create the final look.

Materials

  • Red Rock
  • Pine Shrub
  • Mugo Pine
  • Juniper plum

Hamilton Backyard

We used 45 tons of white stone for a total clean up and bed extension. The goal was to clean out old shrubs, trees and roots, level the land, reshape the area and then lay down a weed proof barrier before adding the stones. The backyard feels like you entered an ocean of white stones.

Materials

  • Garden Gravel
  • White Rock

Rock Sculpture for Fallen Heroes

We often get requests to create rock sculptures or fish ponds. The meannig behind this piece touched my heart. It is a simple shrine that was made out river rock. Each piece weighed over 100lbs. They were stacked,  balanced and glued together to honor my fallen brother.

Materials

  • River Rock Wall
  • Red Roses
  • Super Glue
